Katy Perry Joins the Elite RIAA 100 Million Certified Songs Club with Her New Single

Katy Perry returns with her second single of 2019, “Small Talk.” The sparkling track is a poignant acknowledgement of the emotional distance that develops after a break-up, with Katy observing, “We had conversations about forever now it’s about the weather okay/I just can’t believe/We went from strangers to lovers to strangers in a lifetime.”
She wrote “Small Talk” with Johan Carlsson, Charlie Puth and Jacob Kasher Hindlin. Johan Carlsson and Charlie Puth produced the track with Peter Karlsson producing the vocals.
“Small Talk” follows Katy’s summer hit, “Never Really Over”, which marked her first new solo music since 2017. “Never Really Over” was the biggest streaming launch of Katy’s career and has been certified Gold. Hailing it as a “euphoric breakup anthem,” PAPER proclaimed, “Katy Perry Is Back and Better Than Ever.”
Earlier this week, Katy was awarded a plaque commemorating 100 million RIAA song certifications. She is one of only five artists in history to have topped 100 million certified units with their digital singles – and the first-ever Capitol Records recording artist to join the elite RIAA 100 Million Certified Songs club in the U.S.

Its innovative design and construction technologies are impressive, and visitors are encouraged to touch samples of the stadium's triangular façade while learning about the cutting-edge technology that keeps the grass on the pitch growing well. Upon this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour continues to the Player Changing Room which includes showers, changing areas and a warm-up space. Guests are then brought onto the pitch, and can sit in the substitute seats to experience the players’ point of view, as well as hear an introduction to the daily operations during the turf-in phase before hosting any major sporting events. The South Stand is next on the schedule. This 1,600 sqm area boasts a magnificent view of Victoria Harbour through the large window. The tour concludes in The Champion, which has 64 beer taps and serves ice-cold beer throughout the event.
