ALATi at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok invites you to embark on a flavourful culinary journey through its ‘Stories of Morocco’, featuring redesigned dishes inspired by Executive Chef Carlo Valenziano’s travel in various provinces in the charming country in North Africa while adding a touch of Mediterranean taste to each fare.
Among the highlights are ‘Shakshuka egg’ – spiced tomato and bell pepper stew, soft egg, merguez and fresh herbs, served with Arabic bread; ‘Harira soup’, traditional chickpea, lentil and tomato soup, fresh coriander and lemon; ‘Pastilla’ – filo pastry stuffed with spiced chicken, almonds, cinnamon and sugar dust, shaped uniquely like a roll for sharing and served with harissa; ‘Lahm Tagine’ lamb stew with Ras El Hanout and honey jus, prunes, almonds and cinnamon; ‘Chicken Tagine’ with lemon confit, olives and capers, cooked in a saffron and turmeric bouillon; as well as sweet treats including ‘Moroccan almond pastry’ – filo pastry filled with almond compote, orange blossom water and caramelised almonds.
The ‘Stories of Morocco’ will be available from 1 August to 30 November 2022. The à la carte menu is priced from THB 320++, and the three-course dining set menu is priced from THB 1,250++ per person.
