For this annual event, The St. Regis Bangkok is making it more special with a unique collaboration with Ravipa, a Thai jewellery brand, in honor of all mothers celebrating Mother’s Day in Thailand. Diners will embark on a dual journey, starting with the four-course Western Set Menu, while also receiving a complimentary pearl bracelet from Ravipa at the end of their culinary journey throughout August 2023 at VIU restaurant.
Alongside the exquisite bracelet, a complimentary petit four and a glass of jasmine-infused mocktail called “Unconditional Love” are served. The white chocolate pearl, dusted with silver powder and presented in a mother-of-pearl shell, symbolizes the sophistication of mothers. The mocktail, inspired by the flower associated with Mother’s Day, embodies their unconditional love. Ravipa’s signature elements of auspicious meaning are also incorporated into each creation of the Exquisite Journey Menu, with the hope of protecting mothers from harm and negative energy while bringing fortune.
The four-course Western Set Menu X Ravipa Collaboration experience begins with a harmonious combination of flavors, including succulent crabmeat, artisanal tomatoes, capers, and yellow raisins. The next course showcases pan-fried U.S. scallops in velvety, slow-roasted Cauliflower Soup. Diners have a choice between two exceptional main course creations: the Baked Seabass en Papillote, served with fennel bulb, or the Sous Vide Tenderloin, complemented with French forest mushrooms, and served with a 48-hour slow-cooked flavorful Chardonnay wine jus. To complete the meal, a creamy Summer Panna Cotta is enlivened with succulent berries sourced from the EU and USA, enhanced with a passion fruit sponge and Japanese yuzu caviar.
The 4-course Exquisite Journey Menu in collaboration with Ravipa, priced at THB 1,200++ per person, is available daily for lunch on Mondays to Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM and for dinner on Sundays to Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at VIU restaurant. Every two set meals ordered come with a complimentary Ravipa pearl bracelet, valued at THB 1,890 net, valid from August 1 to August 31, 2023, or while stocks last.
