Lively “Stand Up Paddle Fest” at Dusit Thani Krabi This May!

On 1 and 2 May 2021, luxurious Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort will host an unmissable event for lovers of water sports, “Stand Up Paddle Fest”, taking place on the calm, crystalline waters of Andaman Sea at Krabi’s beautiful Klong Muang Beach, a lengthy stretch of tranquil white sands on which the resort is situated.
Over the two days, there will be 4 friendly paddleboard races of various distance: 1, 2, 3 and 6 kilometres, as well as other activities to keep visitors amused throughout the weekend including yoga classes by professional instructors and live DJ shows. Snacks and refreshments are available from midday onwards around the resort’s Breeze beachfront swimming pool, and participants can also make use of many of the resort’s facilities including the pool and kayaks. In both evenings the fun fest will be joined by special guests from Krabi’s well known Skimboard Group who will showcase their amazing boarding talents.
Entry ticket for both days is priced only at THB 590, including access to any one of the 4 races, a festival shirt, commemorative medal and phone dry bag. Dusit Thani Krabi Beach resort is committed to support the local community and will donate THB 100 from each ticket sale to the Klong Muang Public Health Center and will carry out a beach cleaning before and after the event.
